Hi All,
You may be wondering why we suddenly decided to move to Houston, Texas. I have to tell you, if someone had told me a month ago that we would be moving, I certainly would have dismissed them as crazy. Well, we have gone crazy!
Frank came home in the beginning of November and told me that we had 10 days to decide if we wanted to move to Houston. In the moment both of us chuckled and said, ya right! However, once we started looking into the job more carefully, we realized that this just might be an answer to our prayers.
First, the job is during the day! That should give Frank a lot more time with the family. Second, I think that he would feel better being awake during the day and sleeping at night. Third, we get to live near Frank's parents. Fourth, Frank will get a pay raise. Fifth, NO SNOW! (However, there are hurricanes. Yikes!) There are quite a number of other items on our list, so ultimately we decided that Frank should apply for the job transfer.
Of course, there are a few negatives to moving. First, selling our house (my dream house). Second, moving is a big hassle. So... if you know anyone that is looking for an awesome house in Tooele, UT, pass the word along. :)
Frank starts his job on December 17! Talk about a quick turn around. I will travel between Houston and Utah until our house is sold.
Frank was in Houston on Monday and Tuesday of this week and met the Supervisor that is opening the Houston base, and he feels awesome about the job and the people he is going to work with.
All in all, this move should pan out to be a great opportunity for us. Although, I will admit that it is also a little nerve wracking. Well, it is awesome to open a new chapter of our lives! Yahoo!

We are Back!
I know that I took an unexpectedly long break from this blog, but I have suddenly been inspired to start blogging again (thanks to my sisters Rachel and Jesse). I am hoping that I can keep you all up on the happenings of our family.
We have had a busy summer - 3 weddings, a funeral, family vacation, a trip to Houston, a trip to South Dakota and quite a few house guests! I have to admit, all in all, it has been a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from this summer that you may have missed. : ) You can click on any of the pictures to see them bigger. Have fun!
